Platform-ZERO is excited to announce the upcoming summer school “Intelligent Characterization of PV Devices – IntelPV” focused on the advanced characterization and monitoring of third-generation photovoltaic (PV) technologies, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). This special program is designed to cater to industrial engineers and PhD students who are keen on learning about state-of-the-art AI techniques and their application in the photovoltaics industry.
The summer school will take place in Carmona, near Seville, on the 20th and 21st of June 2024. It will delve into AI-enhanced characterization and monitoring tools from an industrial perspective, emphasizing their integration into PV production lines. This initiative aims to address the critical challenges in PV manufacturing, particularly the production inefficiencies that lead to material waste and increased environmental impact.
The program is tailor-made for those involved in photovoltaics, related opto-electronic applications, and material sciences, who aspire to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application.
Registration for the summer school is now open and available online. Interested participants are encouraged to secure their spots promptly, as the event is expected to draw a global audience of future leaders in green technology and sustainable practices. You may participate in person, or attend the summer school online, for a 60€ fee.
