Platform-ZERO celebrates its 1st year in Hagenberg, Austria

On 11 & 12 January 2024, our project partners gathered in Hagenberg, Austria to celebrate the 1st year of the project.

The meeting was an opportunity to share and discuss the progress of multiples aspects of our past and upcoming research and innovation activities such as :

👉 The process monitoring flow and industrial requirements; 

👉 The design of advanced sensor stations, their configuration and integration; 

👉 The big data infrastructure and database setup; 

👉 The design and testing of semi-automatized modular sensors prototypes; 

👉 The design of the integrated advanced sensor stations; 

👉 The sample fabrication; 

👉 The AI-system architecture; 

👉 The data communication and control interfaces.

The meeting was kindly hosted by our project partner RISC Software GmbH in their facilities. In Platform-ZERO, RISC leads the design and implementation of a big data infrastructure, algorithms and communication protocols for managing the data generated by the platform. RISC also leads the integration of the AI-based control unit and graphical user interface of the developed software.

The meeting was also an opportunity for the consortium to discover some of the RISC Software’s research work on Artificial Intelligence (AI), this time applied to safety on roads.

Our team is excited about the many upcoming results yet to come. 

There will be numerous opportunities to meet us in European events over 2024, hence stay tuned !
